Join us Saturday morning for coffee, bagels, lively discussion and FUN!!

Updates & Input: Bike Month, EXPO, Bike Action Plan Implementation, Samohi SRTS / MANGo, Colorado Esplanade, Mobility Initiative, Santa Monica’s 1st Open Street Event!
YOUR INPUT!

•   Francie Stefan, City of Santa Monica Mobility and Transportation Manager will share updates on Santa Monica’s Open Street Event, Pedestrian Action Plan, the City’s Mobility Initiative and the completion of the new Colorado Esplanade and opening of EXPO light Rail and Bike Path.
•   Michelle Glickert, City of Santa Monica’s Bike Coordinator will give us Bike Action Plan updates and request your ideas and input on next steps. Projects: Green Lanes and Bike Technology Demonstrations, MANGo. Brief updates on programs like SRTS and bike ed classes and events.
•   Vision Zero
•   City of Santa Monica Bike Share – stat updates and Breeze Outreach Team opportunities,
Ride Breeze Bikes that we will have there for you to test ride.
•   Be the first to hear about some exciting upcoming events!
•   SMPD Bike Liason sends his regrets for this meeting – we look forward to meeting him at the next one
•   Bike Month: Gear Up May 1st and more events ALL MONTH - NEED VOLUNTEERS

Join us for this months Learn to #RideBreeze & Community Ride.

Class is open to current and prospective Breeze members.

You’ll learn how to use the Breeze bike share system, including checking out, locking, flexibility of “out of station locking” and “hold” features, multiple bike check out on one account and more! We’ll then take a short tour of Santa Monica bike infrastructure to demonstrate how some of these features work and can be used. You’ll also learn basic bike safety tips and Rules of the Road to help reduce conflicts and keep your rides SAFER & FUN — all while enjoying the community and connecting with Bike Local businesses. Surely to be a day of fun and excitement.SM Farmers Market Tomato At this first event we will visit and get a short tour of the Main Street Farmers Market.

Registration is FREE but required — Please click here to RSVP today! Attendees must be 16* or over (*under 18 must accompanied by parent or guardian and wear a helmet) You will be sent registration and event information.

The days are short in the winter and sunsets come early – But luckily for us – Founding Memberships have been extended through the New Years Weekend and won’t sunset until Monday.
