Do you want to be more comfortable and confident when cycling on city roads? Take Bike 3 – Street Skills class and practice what you learned in a real-world setting.
The Bike 3 – Street Skills class, presented by Metro, Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition – LACBC and Santa Monica Spoke is a free 2.5-hour class for adults and teens to practice safe riding with a group of beginning cyclists. Youâ€™ll learn cycling etiquette, practice riding in a real-world setting, and make pit stops at local establishments to get refreshments.

We invite you to join us and LA County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC) for a two-wheeled tour of the Cityâ€™s new green lanes as part of SaMo Pride Month, sponsored by Metro Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) Program. In June, Santa Monica is celebrating their 1st SaMo Pride Month and commitment to an inclusive and diverse community. This ride will sample some of the 19 miles of new green lanes.
You won’t want to miss all of the extras this year – the photo-boothÂ fromÂ REI, on-course support fromÂ VeloFix, and even a BUS from LA Metro so you can finally try out those bike racks and elevate your LA commute. PLUS a fully-loaded raffle with bikes fromÂ REI,Â Pure Cycles,Â Tern,Â Raleigh, andÂ DTLA Bikes!

We’ll be enjoying the cool coastal air as we are joined by our LA County Affiliate LACBC for this excursion to explore our own Michigan Avenue Neighborhood Greenway and share a preview of the amazing improvements planned for the Safe Streets for 17th Street & Michigan Ave project — and so much more!
