So much is happening in Santa Monica! Community input is a vital part of what can make our city the vibrant place we want to live and play and visitors can enjoy. Please come and see what happening and give your voice to the process. We hope to see you there, please stop us and say “HI” if you do.
The Planning and Community Development Department invites you to the fourth Bergamot Area Plan (www.bergamotplan.net) workshop, which will explore how Community Benefits can help to achieve the vision for high-quality neighborhoods, walkability, open space and daily needs.
Please join us on February 7th at Virginia Avenue Park’s Thelma Terry Room from 7:00PM – 9:00PM to discuss:
- § What is a Community Benefit: understand the difference between baseline components required for new development and “benefits” that are desired by the community.
- § Area Needs and Priorities: review previous community discussion about the Community Benefit priorities for the Bergamot Transit Village and Mixed-Use Creative districts and provide your input to update them.
Your input on these concepts is needed to design a methodology for supporting local benefits that serve the Santa Monica community.
