Our Earth Day theme this year is Dr Seuss’ The Lorax.
We will spend more time at the Park Drive Park and Community Gardens with more fun activities!!

The Lorax was Dr. Seuss‘ personal favorite of his children’s book. It chronicles the plight of the environment and the Lorax, who speaks for the trees against the Once-ler. As in most Dr. Seuss works, most of the creatures mentioned are original to the book. What costume will you dream up?

Join Santa Monica Spoke and the City of Santa Monica for the next Kidical Mass Family Bike Ride.  You never know what special guest could join us. We are happy to have support from Razor at the event. There will be a Razor Booth with Scooters to demo – plus you could win a scooter in a FREE raffle – RSVP and arrive to Check-in for your free raffle ticket!

Pre-ride snacks, Coffee, and beverages for the kids (Please be sustainable and bring your own cups), Helmet Decorating, Prizes, Free Bike Safety Checks provided by Performance Bicycles, & Check in.
Arrive early and don’t miss the FUN!
We return to Clover Park for FUN and post-ride snacks.
Valentine themed activity are being planned!

 

* Children must be accompanied and are the responsibility of their parents. Bikes should be in good working condition. Free Safety Checks on site for minor adjustments/repairs. Please use good judgement – ride is on city streets – smaller children should be in a child seat, in a trailer or Tag-a-long……

City of Santa Monica Safe Routs to School Thanks everyone and your volunteers for making this Fall’s Bike It! Walk It! Bus It! events grand successes — and a great time for the students!

Participation rates break down as follows:
