In conjunction with National Walk to School Day (Oct. 7^th), SMMUSD students and their families are encouraged to Bike It! Walk It! Bus It! during the week of October 5-9, 2015. Held in the spring and fall of each year, these days provide traffic relief on neighborhood streets and parking congestion associated with school trips. Not to mention, encourage kids to be active and inspire families to try something new that might just make their lives easier.

Be sure to check in with your child’s school’s PTA and/or administration to find out what special activities will be taking place. This year, the Big Blue Bus will be offering free rides for all SMMUSD students during Bike It! Walk It! Bus It! week. All they have to do is present a coupon (paper or digital) available at bigbluebus.com or santamonicasaferoutes.org
